The day (5 Mar) finally came….35k Joint LOC Debt gone after carrying for 7yrs🙏

Background….. divorced 7yrs ago and as part of negotiations and being the primary on accounts one of 22k and another 13k, took the bigger one, with ex taking the small one.Long story short, ex just made minimum payments instead of paying down over the past 7yrs.My credit suffered because there were also late 30 and 90 days payment from the ex.Anyway, as of last Canada Day, I took matters into my own hand, and started paying the debt aggressively.Friends, I logged into the FI acct just now….and I saw something I haven’t seen in 7yrs, currently, you have no active accounts to view🙏☝️😁 via /r/PersonalFinanceCanada https://ift.tt/3kRlnT6
