Motorcycle stolen – TD insurance adjuster screamed at me

my motorcycle (Yamaha R6) was stolen on Wednesday Oct 6 from my condo underground parking. Police was called and i filed a report.We found the CCTV footage of a white dodge minivan with 2 guys stealing my motorcycle. ‘ Cops never bothered to contact us about any interest in obtaining the footage. The cop on site just told me you wont get it back, dont hold up any hope and how this is a professional gang doing this all over GTA.That same day i called TD and opened a claim – they told me my adjuster will call me in 24 hrs …. that was 2 weeks ago.When i called the adjuster’s phone – it turned out she was on a long vacation.I tried calling TD back and i got a hold of the manager’s name – but he does not respond back to my voicemail or emails.It turns out that the assigned adjuster was finally back from vacation and she called me from a no caller ID number and she did not identify herself and left a VM that TD is just looking into this claim and they need more time. She did not leave her name or phone number in the VM which was weird.I quickly sent her an email saying pls call me back. She called me back and started screaming at me and she said she’s been working long hours and that she is busy and how she didnt have time for me and how i should be grateful to have access to her.I said you are being very rude and you are very late, you having to work late is not my problem – so then she hung up on me. I can’t believe the unprofessionalism from this adjuster working for TD insurance. i think upon her return from vacation – she was overwhelmed with the number of cases she had to follow up on and so she took it out on me.I have no idea what is happening with my claim and every-time i call TD its a 1-hr wait time..they just take notes and tell me someone is going to call me in 24hrs – they never do!….I’ve been calling everyday wasting 1 hr of my time to get through to TD insurance phone lines and they always say they can only take notes down and pass it to the manager who never responds back to my emails or VM.I am so frustrated.TDLR: my bike got stolen, TD adjuster assigned to my claim is a POS and now i’m stuck via /r/PersonalFinanceCanada https://ift.tt/3G12WFX
