You can’t go through three months of the fastest and most out-of-whack price appreciation in this country’s history, with prices rising $100,000 to $200,000 and bidding wars running wild, and then have the minister in charge of housing give his first real comments on the issue and that comment is “GO FUCKING RENT.”ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME.They were silent on this issue for months. Now I know why. THEY DON’T GIVE A FUCK.I had hope, you guys. I really did. I hoped that, in normal times, unaffordable housing was bad but tolerable for them. But this time it was different, this time housing went too far and they would make some tough decisions. But no.
