Exciting high and depressing low all in one day.

Our exciting high is that we paid off our primary household’s mortgage today, 4 months early.The depressing low is that my husband was approached about applying for a new job, same company but different division. Going from supervising 4 to 25, 5% travel to 25% travel, and 8-hour days to some 12-hour days due to offices across North America. He heard yesterday that he was the chosen candidate and we waited for the offer letter today. There was zero salary increase. He will be declining the offer in the morning.
