A Tale of Two Cities is very relevant today.

I’m reading A Tale of Two Cities, and realizing that we are experiencing the same sort of institutional decay Dickens criticized in the novel. Monseigneur is a particularly interesting representation of this decay because he shows how institutions can be corrupted to the point where they no longer serve their intended purpose. I couldn’t help but think about our media, and how they are so corrupted by ideology that they lost touch with reality. They think they are Madame Defarge, when really they are Monseigneur. via /r/books https://ift.tt/3gS8QPh
