Does a Mayfly, which only lives a day, evolve fast than a human?

This might be really stupid but to me it makes sense, kind of. Evolution is about survival of the fittest right, so the more generations you have the faster changes take place and the weak are weeded out. via /r/askscience http://ift.tt/2GoDQ43
