My favourite author did not write my favourite book. Anyone else in the same boat?

My favourite author is easily Terry Pratchett. I love his Discworld series, and my biggest regret in life is not being able to meet him in person to thank him for writing such funny, absurd and insightful worlds, and influencing my personal of paradigms of being.And yet, the one book I have read and read many times and has affected me the most (sadness, wry humour, fear, deep thoughts; the whole gamut) is Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke.How about you? via /r/books https://ift.tt/XuVKe64
