My adorable grandparents in “51 or ‘52. My grandfather would have recently returned from a prison camp in Russia and my grandmother had just snuck out of East Germany while the getting was still good. They married and had 3 daughters, 10 grandchildren. My grandmother is now 91 and still alive.
