Just filed with SimpleTax, never going back to TurboTax…. UI is so much .. simpler!

Was concerned about privacy for a while but went and bit the bullet.Glad i did, man that process is so damn simple.I like how they expose the actual grids to you in the main UI , it forces you to really think about what each box means in terms of taxes and where money is going. only gripe i have that instead of just putting a number beside box (and having to put cursor over number to get its indication… have an option to put a small text above box with the full description)In Turbotax, a lot of that is hidden and in the end makes the whole process more opaque and confusing. (having to file extra quebec stuff and sync it across provincial borders a nightmare sometimes)Maybe this would be different if operating a small business, but for now, onwards and upwards. via /r/PersonalFinanceCanada https://ift.tt/3rGfnyk
