Reading the posts here encouraged me to ask for a raise. My work oftered me 5%, I asked for 20% & they ended up giving me a 15% increase!

I was so scared to ask, firstly because it’s Covid & secondly because I felt awkward bringing it up but seeing so many of the “asking for a raise” posts on here gave me confidence to go for what I felt I deserved.
